OUR LIFE'S WORK

Dsine International was founded in 2009 and is now a world class design and training group. We provide class A and concept digital modeling services to the Automotive and Product design industries.

Dave Kaylor, Director of Dsine International graduated university in 1998 with an honors degree in Industrial design from Monash University. Since then, he has worked at various international design studios including Renault, Opel, Pininfarina, Ford, GM Holden and most recently with Faraday Future, Canoo and Singer Vehicle Design in California.

In 2015 Dave also started an Automotive design training academy which now has graduates employed and working globally.

Dave’s Automotive design specialty is Class A Surfacing also known as digital modeling and he was in charge of the award-winning design team for the Interior of the CANOO Lifestyle Vehicle.Instigator and founder of project ThunderTruck Inspired colleagues, friends, and family to back the idea of re-establishing the Australian automotive / industrial design industry.

Chris is a results-driven, detail-oriented Alias Lead with over twenty years of experience in the automotiveindustry, including twelve years at Ford Motor Company, building and managing production exteriors forglobal vehicle programs including the Ford Ranger. With a Masters in Industrial Design, he has workedinternationally on production and concept vehicles for General Motors, Ford, Jaguar and Qoros.Adept at A-class modeling, leading cross-functional teams, prioritizing workloads, managing resources andscheduling, Chris is highly skilled in delivering projects from concept to completion, no matter the scale or pace of the program.

JARRAD

Having graduated as a Product Design Engineer I now have over 12 years extensive experience in the global automotive design industry working as an Alias surface modeller. I have worked for large global OEM's, bespoke luxury sport brands and small start up's that grew into production capable automotive companies, working on production A-Class surfaces as well as concept surfacing, I have gained a well rounded approach to design development and visualisation.

TIM

Tim is an expert in translating design sketches into 3D models built around complex engineering packages. For over 16 years he has worked closely with engineering and design teams to deliver surfaces from concept through to A-class in creative and high pressure environments. His career has taken him around the world to fast-paced international design studios where he has worked on projects for Volkswagen, Kia, Ford, GM, Audi and Lamborghini. Tim’s folio of work spans everything from futuristic show-cars to highly functional production vehicles. As a keen learner he is passionate about bringing ideas to life through collaboration but also has enough years of experience to work autonomously to produce fantastic results. Tim has cultivated a reputation as a fast, hard working and very personable digital modeler and is always searching for opportunities to improve surface quality and visual appearance. Modeling from scan, sketches or verbal direction Tim can bring any idea to life.

HOW WE HELP:

CONCEPT MODELLING

Concept modelling is building surfaces CAD models that capture the sketch or design direction as quickly and efficiently as possible with less emphasis on engineering feasibility.

A CLASS SURFACING

Class A surfacing also known as “Strak’ is digital modelling of any surface visible to the eye or user. B Class surfaces in contrast are non visible surfaces, for example; internal door sheet metal which is covered by a door trim.
‍
Class A surfaces capture the design intent, have perfect highlights and have engineering feasibility built in such as draft angels, minimum radii, gaps and flushness.

FIT SCAN MODELLING

Fit scan modelling is a process of building surfaces within a very small tolerance to the scan data.
