In 2015 I enrolled into Dsine International’s Alias Automotive training after several years of attempting to learn Alias on my own. The course promised to provide valuable insights, practical techniques and industry-relevant training. Not only can I attest to this, I can confidently say that partaking in this course was easily the most pivotal turning point in my professional life, fundamentally altering the trajectory of my career and ultimately securing me a rewarding and fulfilling position in digital sculpting at Ford Motor Company.

Each week was dedicated to exploring essential modeling techniques, forming the foundation for strong and efficient modeling practices used within the industry. The information is delivered in a concise manner, complemented by engaging exercises and an interactive learning environment that effectively reinforced the teachings. As I continue to thrive at Ford, I attribute the fundamental skills I developed during this course as the catalyst that set me on this incredible path of success.

This course kick-started my career in the automotive industry which has lead me, quite literally to multiple design studios internationally. Dave’s course helped secure my first automotive sculpting job at Ford in Australia, where I was able to further build on my skills and gain hands-on experience. From there I reached out to an electric car company, Faraday Future all the way in California who were looking for talented sculptors. After a short aptitude test, I was hired and they relocated me to Venice Beach, California what a dream! Unfortunately the dream was short lived as they ran out of funding and I found myself jobless in a foreign country, far away from friends, family and my support network. Luckily the strong foundations built through this course saved my behind, and I was able to secure a job before my visa ended, at Lucid Motors in Northern California. Little did I know at the time I’d be lucky enough to work on one of the best electric cars ever made with some of the best engineers & designers in the world. From there I was able to secure a job at Apple in the Design Team where I’ve been ever since.

This course is as close as it gets to a real-life cheat code. You gain hands on experience with one of the most respected Australian modelers globally and gain access to Dave’s network and reputation. While it seemed like a humble beginning sitting up in the conference room at Granite consulting, the world awaits you if you put in the work. The small fee the course cost has paid for itself more than ten-fold. And the value you can gain from it is much, much more than just money. It’s a path to the rest of the world. Looking back, I don’t think there’s anybody better to walk that path with than Dave Kaylor and the team at Dsine international (Thanks Dave!).

Dsine International's Alias Training Course been one of the best learning experiences for a CAD software that I have experienced. Very social small classes with no pressure on asking questions or asking for help, the learning environment was really encouraging and made progress in Autodesk Alias very simple.

Talks and classes assisted by industry professionals made networking a lot simpler and you felt like what you were working towards was a real career path and made the gap between university students, graduates and people in the industry seem a lot less daunting.

Having completed two Dsine International Courses so far, I would gladly recommend it to anyone else looking to further their skills.
